Is tionscadal é ‘Corca Dhuibhne Inbhuanaithe – A Creative Imagining’ go bhfuil sé mar chuspóir aige bheith ag obair le feirmeoirí áitiúla, ina measc siúd Pobal Fuinnimh Inbhuanaithe Fheirmeoirí Déiríochta Chorca Dhuibhne, chun féachaint go cruthaitheach ar shlite gur féidir le feirmeoirí ar an leithinis éagsúlú a dhéanamh mar bhealach chun dul i ngleic leis an athrú aeráide.
Corca Dhuibhne Inbhuanaithe – A Creative Imagining is a project which aims to work with local farmers, including the West Kerry Dairy Farmers’ Sustainable Energy Community, to creatively look at ways in which farmers on the peninsula can diversify to address climate change. Ten farmers will be selected from the community to take part in the project.
Dingle Hub, working with Catríona Fallon of the Green Arts Initiative in Ireland and Clare Watson of MaREI, are managing the project, working with a creative partner as an Embedded Artist. The selected artist, Lisa Fingleton, is engaging with the local farming community until the end of 2022 exploring creatively how farming can play an important role in acting on the climate emergency.
