Tourism and Hospitality Sustainable Energy Community
Taking learnings from the agricultural sector and in particular the West Kerry Dairy Farmers SEC, this project will:
- Develop an EMP specifically for the tourism industry here that will provide guidance to the sector on reducing their carbon emissions through implementing changes.
- Monitor the implementation of these recommendations across the sector and measure their impact on carbon reductions.
- Promote Dingle Peninsula / Corca Dhuibhne as a sustainable tourist destination while also acting as an exemplar for other regions.
